My Palette

Love this fresh, beautiful painting! I especially love the color of the water. So immediate and well done. Congratulations.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Blaine! I did this painting right after having finished the other painting with a Ferris wheel - "Holiday Season in Cascais" that you liked a lot. I just moved to the opposite side of that small bay. The weather has changed dramatically and I was glad that I managed to capture the light on the beach and the roofs before a huge cloud came and covered the sun. The water has reflected the last bits of sunshine and at the same time the grey sky, becoming silver on the surface and and warm green underneath.
DeleteLove the energy in this painting!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Azra. I had to work really fast on this one :)
